"Excellent dining experience! The cozy, comfortable atmosphere and friendly wait staff made Saturday night a special dinner for a friend's birthday. The food was great and the menu has something for everyone. I even tried a unique cocktail, with rye, madeira, orange and cherries. We're all looking forward to going back again."

"My husband and I were SO IMPRESSED with The Alcove. We did not attend the dinner theater so we can't comment on that but the restaurant was excellent! Our server, Dawn, was top-notch. Very attentive and friendly. Also, the host who sat us was very friendly and chatted with us a bit (I didn't catch his name). The food was outstanding and the setting of the restaurant was elegant. I also felt that the prices were reasonable for the amount of food. The women's restroom was spotless and had many "extra" touches such as hairspray and mouthwash. We just happened upon The Alcove but we will now make special trips back to Mount Vernon to visit this gem again!"
